Dr. Caterina Bartolozzi is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Italy, graduated from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna with the magna cum laude award.
She had the chance to study, receive intensive trainings and work in Italy and in the United States in international centers of excellence specialized in the psychological and psychiatric treatment of children, adolescents and adults.
She worked at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the Center for Study and Treatment of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania, the Meyer Children’s Hospital of Florence in Italy and for the association Mental Health of America.
She had the chance to participate and present research posters at conferences held by renowned associations like the Anxiety and Depression Association of America and the American Psychological Association.
She is also a licensed Mental Health Counselor and Life Coach is the United States. Additionally, she is a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist; specialized in treating traumas and all the related psychological issues.
She utilizes psychological, counseling and coaching techniques based on the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the Carl Rogers’ Client-Center approach, and Mindfulness. She uses relaxation and stress reduction techniques and the Autogenic Training.
She is specialized in treating anxiety and stress, grief, traumas and important losses, depression and mood related disorders. Psychosomatic disorders, issues related with chronic diseases, sexual and relationship issues and self-esteem issues.
Also, child and adolescent emotional and behavioral problems, adult life issues and aging problems.
Besides, she is specialized in treating and helping immigrants and Italians living abroad who deal with a relocation in another country and multicultural issues.
