Sophia Bis possesses a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Psychological Counselling degree, awarded by Glasgow Caledonian University and a First Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Psychology, awarded by the University of Crete. Sophia is a BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) qualified and registered person-centered counsellor, practicing privately at the moment. She also holds a Professional License to practice in Greece. Sophia has a vast experience of working with adults, adolescents and children, with a wide range of issues. Some of these issues include anxiety, depression, family problems, relationship difficulties, behavioural patterns, coping mechanisms, psychosomatic symptoms, childhood trauma, sexual, motional or physical abuse, loss, identity issues, self-harming, insomnia, bullying, personal boundaries, phobias, self-esteem, stress, work-related problems and more. She gained such experience by completing supervised work in organizations such as Open Secret (Wellbeing Scotland), Crisis and Place2Be.
